“Craft” Movie Screening and Expert Panel
Celebrate and learn more about the Loudoun’s booming craft beverage industry.
This signature event will include a panel discussion featuring experts in the craft beer field. The discussion will focus on the beer-production process from plant to pint. Guests are invited to stay for a screening of “CRAFT” the movie. Lite fare and drink tickets will be provided.
Jasper Akerboom — An experienced microbiologist and brewing scientist, Jasper consults with local brew masters on yeast strains for commercial brewing processes.
Josh Chapman — The co-founder and head brewer Black Narrows Brewing Co, Josh uses his culinary background to offer a unique perspective on brewing, both as an art and a science.
Janelle Zurschmeide — As owner of Dirt Farm Brewery and co-chair of the Farm Brewery Committee of the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild, Janelle has been a lifelong advocate for Loudoun County’s rural economy.
Sten Sellier– The founder and President of Beltway Brewing Company, a contract brewery in Sterling, Sten helps start-ups and growing breweries expand their operations.
Moderated by Kellie Hinkle, Agriculture Development Officer for Loudoun Economic Development.
